Mudd Law Principal Attorney Charles L Mudd Jr. will be presenting at this year’s Gamer Grace conference. The event will be held September 22-24, 2017 at Pheasant Run Resort, 4051 East Main Street in Saint Charles, Illinois. This is the first year for the three day gaming summit.
On Saturday, September 23, Charles will be part of a video game developers panel, along with other attorneys and those in the gaming industry, to provide legal insight for those who create games or those interested in designing their own video game. The panel will be held from 11am-1pm.
On Sunday, September 24, Charles will be speaking to families about engaging in safe online gameplay. His presentation “Staying Safe While Gaming: Top 10 Tips” will be from 10am-11am. Attorney Charles Lee Mudd Jr. will present tips to help everyone engage in safe gameplay. While Minecraft gameplay will serve as a foundation and demarcation point, the tips discussed will apply broadly to online activities. Parents will obtain proactive and positive practices to help understand the technology used by their children. Kids will obtain information that can help them stay safe and involve their parents. Charles will talk about tips including how to be a model online citizen, how to stay legal, and protecting privacy while gaming.
The Gamer Grace summit will focus on promoting inclusivity and empowerment within the gaming community. The summit looks to be a safe haven for all gamers from all walks of life to celebrate the love of gaming and discuss concerns and hopes for the future of gaming.
Attendees can enjoy a wide range of gaming tournaments, a cosplay content, awards, dances, panels, and even kids programming.
