Remember those three-dimensional dioramas you had to create in middle school? Well, the software engineers at Microsoft do too. Microsoft’s Paint 3D allows you to create simple, yet fun and dynamic 3D scenes using a wonderfully-intuitive interface that in many ways is even more intuitive than their classic Paint application. A preview version of Paint 3D is already available in Microsoft’s Windows 10 Store for users already signed up for Microsoft’s Insider program. For those who are not, the software should become available to the general Windows 10 public later this spring.
PC World posted a video that shows exactly how this new exciting application works. With the continued rise of virtual reality and the oncoming wave of augmented/mixed reality products coming to market, engaging and intuitive software to create 3D content is going to be in high demand.
