Mark A. Petrolis (@Socill_Media) and Stephanie M. Snyder (@legissh) discussed recent developments in online anonymity law at the 2012 Illinois State Bar Association Cyberlaw Symposium. In particular, they discussed the Illinois opinions in Maxon v. Ottawa and Stone v. Paddock using a hypothetical involving a potentially defamatory Yelp post.
